Its like this: Me and elp6n have more reason on here than anyone to take sick, warped ROTFL delight in this situation, considering how judgemental he has been of us, but this is not the case at all. Drugs are not funny. Most of you who have been on here awhile have heard me speak about the demon of drug addiction that nearly killed me as a teen. My heart is broken for his family. I have heard that his daughter is a great person, as is his family as a whole. Instead of burying him whilst he is down, I would rather extend the olive branch, pray that the resolution is speedy, and he is on here before we know it, arguing with me just like the good ol' days. Part of me resents him for this though. While the rest of us are out there busting our [censored] to pay the bills, he's hustling, looking for the easy money. That part of me says "throw the [censored] book at him". Putting your loved ones through that shame and embarrassment makes it hard to be sympathetic, but alas I find that I am nonetheless.

Agreed. Reminder, I would be saying the same if it were you, LPDFTBL, Chubz, Knight 67, Craes, or anyone else. Didn't want you to think that I was singling you out or implying you were doing wrong. I've just been expecting this to come for a couple of weeks. You have every right to be vindictive, but you're handling yourself well. I just hope this thread doesn't turn into a slamfest. For those that may want that to happen, please remember that his daughter frequents this board as does her boyfriend. That daughter is still in school and has to deal with what is said on here and read by her peers.

Agree with that and hopefully everybody keeps it decent.

Its ok to get mad at people on here, we're all human and there are times we all get vindictive and what not, but lets try to put ourselves in the other persons shoes, even if its not been done to you or for you in the past, be the bigger person this time.

This thread and topic of discussion best stay on the 'decent' level.

Exactly. We all make mistakes. He is human just like the rest of us. Part of life is mistakes and whether we learn or not from them.

I dont see any bashing on here to be honest.
I've read many folks express concern for him and his family.

Had he not thrust himself into the forum spotlight in so many controversial ways, he probably might not have been mentioned in the first place. But he made himself an extremely visible poster - he stood out - and he was not at all secretive about his real-life identity.

That being said, I wish the best possible outcome in the situation for him and his family. It's a rough situation. Things happen for any number of reasons. We dont know details, all we know is what's in the paper.

You know as in many things in this area with high profile folks, never making the newspaper, unless it is really bad enough.
For the sake of the family, couldn't we at least delete, any reference to any possibly known members.
I think a little consideration should be taken for some things.
Posting a url or even an article is fine. But that don't mean a nick or name has to be given out here.
Discussing the raid and the consequences etc seems fine. But im sure all have seen people they know or may know. Yet they don't yell out their names on here. I seen and knew many in the WC raids. But i didn't yell out their names. I figured they may or could of possibly been members or may have family members on this forum.
Just my opinion.
